Diamond & Crystal

Designed to create smoother, brighter skin and even out pigmentation. Stimulate the skin's cell renewal process to address impurities and promote healthier, more resilient skin.

There are two types of microdermabrasion. Diamond and Crystal. Both offer similar benefits, but the process between the two is slightly different.

What does microdermabrasion help with?
Microdermabrasion helps with acne and scarring.
How is microdermabrasion safe?
Allows no chemicals to be involved, so there is less chance of irritation.

Diamond Microdermabrasion

How does it work?

It begins with exfoliation at consistent treatment depths. Removal of the outer-most layer of the skin leaves a fresh, smooth complexion. Next, a vacuum is used to stimulate circulation. This causes an increase in blood supply to the area, and provides nutrients that nourish the skin and encourages regeneration, as well as the formation of collagen.

Crystal Microdermabrasion

How does it work?

Super fine crystals are sent from a receptacle to the microdermabrasion machine through a tube, and to a glass or stainless steel wand. Via the wand, the exfoliation crystals are sprayed over the skin gently. The crystals and exfoliated skin particles are simultaneously vacuumed away through the same wand. Used crystals are sent to a second receptacle on the machine, and are discarded after every procedure. Aluminum oxide (corundum) crystals are typically used because they are nearly as hard as diamonds. Magnesium oxide, sodium bicarbonate and even sodium chloride are used occasionally as well.
